MUSIC JOURNAL; 15 DEC 2018/PROJECT TO COMPLETE = COVER OF CREAM'S STRANGE BREW

Began working on this cover of Cream's Strange Brew. Was Side tracked at a certain point by my John 5 Squier/Telecaster falling out of tune all the time. Have switched to .011 strings. Hard to find that gauge in Kunming but one shop had themHopefully will in the future or I can order them at least. So, while I deal with all of that this song is on hold for a couple days. Usually takes a couple days before I can use brand new strings. The thicker gauge does seem to hold the pitch better. After decades I still cannot really string up a guitar very well. Hoping that the thicker strings hold better. And I like the sound much more. Do find for my old school style heavier strings are better than lighter.
